Job summary

ENERCON is seeking engineers to design and evaluate power systems at energy facilities. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, manage budgets and schedules, and prepare detailed engineering documents in line with codes and QA programs.

Travel to client sites is required to perform walkdowns and ensure quality deliverables. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is expected, with readiness to start in 1–2 months and design modification experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Available to start in 1–2 months.
  • Design modification experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the preparation of design calculations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for client/site work.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and design power systems at power-generating facilities.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines on projects.
  • Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with limited oversight.
  • Prepare engineering documents (drawings, calculations, analyses) per industry codes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, safety culture, and nuclear design techniques.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables aligned with QA programs and client expectations.
  • Build client relationships through professional interactions and logistics planning.
  • Travel to plant sites for walkdowns and interface with client personnel.
