Job summary

Woodstream Corporation in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer III for New Product Development. You will lead electrical design, prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to bring innovative consumer products to market.

The role requires a strong background in PCB/IC design, embedded firmware, and familiarity with modern EDA tools. Travel up to 5–10% may be required; join our 150-year-strong team advancing safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in consumer product development and EE design activities.
Experience with PCB level design, BOM development, and IC selection.
Experience writing embedded firmware code.
RF design experience is highly desirable.
IoT and machine learning knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design of components and prototypes for new product development.
Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of electrical systems.
Collaborate with sourcing and manufacturing to transition designs to production.
Develop and communicate technical specifications and demonstrations.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Benchmark and identify competitive advantages and improvements.
