Job summary

AMPAM is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer – Electrical to lead the design and analysis of electrical systems for multi-family new construction projects across California. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems design, technical expertise, and collaboration skills.

As a key contributor, you will engage in the development of construction documents, engineering calculations, and design delivery while focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and will involve providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in electrical building systems design.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Experience with multi-family or mixed-use residential projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for multi-family projects.
• Perform engineering calculations for electrical load analysis.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP
