TYG is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead MEP projects in Philadelphia. The role requires 7+ years of electrical/MEP design, strong power distribution, lighting, load calculations, and coordination with architects and engineers.

Ideal candidates hold or target a PE license, are proficient in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and can manage drawings, calculations, and construction documents while ensuring code compliance with NEC/NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical/MEP design experience.
• Active PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes and standards.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, institutional, or residential projects.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and coordinate electrical systems for MEP projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical/structural engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and support construction administration.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
