Job summary

Interface Engineering, Inc. is a hybrid-eligible Senior Electrical Design Engineer I (MEP) role in Los Angeles, leading electrical design across healthcare, education, commercial, biotech, and transportation sectors.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients, and drive project success within our 100% employee-owned firm. This position emphasizes collaboration from home, career growth through our Pathway to Leadership, and a culture built on inclusion, impact, and continuous learning

Qualifications

• BSEE degree required; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years' experience in MEP design/consulting.
• Team leadership/management experience in MEP.
• Project management experience in the MEP space.
• Healthcare building design and HCAI compliance experience.
• High-energy client services skills and excellent communication.
• Thorough understanding of building codes and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex MEP projects across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Biotech, Transportation, and more.
• Develop innovative and complex electrical system designs.
• Meet with and advise clients; coordinate with project teams.
• Provide guidance to design staff and engineers.
• Support overall project management within the MEP group.
