Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to lead design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic components for testing Moog products.

You will drive the creation of new electrical test equipment, support cost/schedule/performance goals, and verify functional performance on military, commercial, and space vehicles. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• BS EE with 5+ years hands-on electrical design in test equipment or controls.
• Or AS degree with 9+ years hands-on electrical design.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and drive new test equipment development.
• Validate conceptual solutions with trade studies and analyses.
• Integrate electronic components into higher-level systems and test designs.
• Prepare and guide Assembly and Test technicians; contribute to work estimates.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with concise reports.
• Mentor less experienced engineers; promote teamwork and clear communication.
