Job summary

Simplexity is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with new product development and robotics experience in Seattle. You will lead electrical system development for consumer, robotic, and medical devices, taking concepts from idea to full production.

You will design schematics, BOMs, and support PCB layout, board bring-up, and integration testing while ensuring robust requirements and clear documentation. Strong Altium skills and PCB troubleshooting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year university.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Altium design tools for schematic review, PCB modifications, and layout adjustments.
• Demonstrated expertise in PCBA board-level troubleshooting and debug with systematic root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership in development of electrical systems for consumer, robotic, and medical devices.
• Take concepts from rough idea to fully-working manufactured product.
• Design circuit schematics, BOMs, and facilitate PCB layout; perform board bring-up and integration testing.
• Document design steps clearly and help improve engineering best practices.
