Ilocatum seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for on-site work in Huntsville, AL, with a salary range of $120K–$130K plus benefits. The role involves designing electronics for RFQ proposals and guiding production release, with duties spanning schematic work, failure analysis, and system integration for automotive applications.

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, along with 5+ years of PCB design experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of EE experience in circuit board design from concept to production.
• Ability to create and interpret schematic and wiring drawings.
• Ability to conduct failure analysis with standard laboratory equipment on electronic and vehicle level assemblies.
• Able to determine and convey findings of Failure Analysis results in written reports.
• System integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design new electronic products during RFQ proposals and support full production release.
• Support and conduct design reviews and ensure program release timelines.
• Create assembly documentation packages and support preproduction builds.
• Transfer designs to production and support system-level electrical problem analysis for automotive systems.
