Job summary

Htprof seeks a senior electrical engineer to lead the design of new electronic products during RFQ proposals and support full production release in an automotive-focused environment. The role covers system-level engineering, failure analysis, and coordination of design reviews through to production transfer.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of EE experience in circuit board design, strong schematic skills, and experience with test equipment and failure analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EE experience in circuit board design from concept to production.
• Able to create and interpret schematic and wiring drawings.
• Ability to conduct failure analysis with standard lab equipment on electronic and vehicle level assemblies.
• Able to convey Failure Analysis findings in written reports.

Responsibilities

• Design new electronic products during RFQ proposals and support full production release.
• Review customer and industry specifications and manage design reviews.
• Create simple mechanical designs and assembly documentation packages as needed.
• Provide preproduction build support and transfers to production.
• Perform system-level engineering and electrical problem analysis for automotive systems.

Company Overview

The senior electrical engineer is responsible for the design of new electronic products during RFQ proposals and culminating with supporting full production release. This includes customer and industry specification reviews,
following program release timelines, supporting and conducting design reviews, create simple mechanical designs when needed, creation of assembly documentation packages, preproduction build support and transfers
to production. Work on system-level engineering and electrical problem analysis for automotive systems.

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of EE experience in circuit board design - concept to production
• Ability to create and interpret schematic and wiring drawings
• Ability to conduct failure analysis with standard laboratory equipment on electronic and vehicle level assemblies
• Able to determine and convey, in written reports, findings of Failure Analysis results

Nice To Haves

• PCB layout with EMC/EMI experience a plus
• Schematic and PCB Library experience a plus
• Wireless Charging experience a plus

Education:

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
