Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Philadelphia - Relocation Support Available

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop their experience working on complex and high-value projects for household-name companies while also benefitting from an excellent perks package and mentorship programme.

This EPC business has been driving the development of communities for over 40 years across North America. They provide MEP, AEC & HVAC specialist services to a variety of high-profile clients across a range of sectors such as Power Generation/Infrastructure, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality and Big-Box stores.

In this role you will be responsible for the production of electrical designs, diagrams, layouts and calculations used in the delivery of a variety of MEP, HVAC, Building Automation and Power Infrastructure projects.

The role:

1. Producing detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics and calculations used in MEP projects
2. Carrying out designs for things such as lighting, power distribution/switchgear, fire alarms, earthing and lighting protection and backup power
3. Liaising with Project Engineers and Project Managers to support with overall project delivery
4. Providing leadership and mentorship to engineers underneath them within the team structure

The Person:

1. Demonstrable experience in Electrical Design Engineering
2. Preferably educated to B.S. level in Electrical Engineering, although this is not essential
3. EIT certification or PE licensure highly advantageous, although support to develop to this level can be provided
4. Active driving license
