Senior Avionics Electrical Design Engineer

Leonardo Helicopters, a multinational company producing helicopters used in over 150 countries, is seeking a Senior Avionics Electrical Design Engineer. The role involves the design, development, and qualification of aircraft systems, modifications, and completions, coordinating with various sectors within the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing specifications, developing timelines, and preparing reports and technical documents.
• Collaborating with customers and suppliers to define system specifications and architecture.
• Ensuring certification requirements are met in liaison with Civil Authorities.
• Addressing engineering issues affecting aircraft operation, including in-service support.
• Improving installations to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participating in project teams for new completions and modifications.
• Managing qualification and certification of new systems or modifications.
• Supporting bid phases with design, trade studies, and cost analysis.
• Interfacing with customers on system design and verification.
• Preparing project plans for hangar aircraft and supporting tests.
• Supporting fault investigations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems.
