Qualifications

• This position requires a U.S. person under ITAR due to export-controlled data.
• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical/Systems/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of electrical controls experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Proven design experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and motor controllers.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive the concept and engineering design development of electrical control systems.
• Oversee schematic design, electrical panel design, PLC/HMI programming, field installation and commissioning.
• Create a collaborative team culture emphasizing continuous improvement, accountability, and learning.
• Work cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines, PMs, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain department processes aligned with industry standards.
• Implement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and scope management to meet client expectations.
• Provide guidance on system architecture, design reviews, and tool adoption.
• Provide oversight and technical support during field commission, startup, and maintenance.
