Job summary
Etech Hi, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for the Grayslake, IL area. The role requires 8–15 years of electrical engineering experience focused on industrial power and control-system design.
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required. The position offers a competitive salary up to $125k plus a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must have hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, BOMs, schematics, and NEC/UL compliance.
Qualifications
- At least 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience designing electrical power and control systems for industrial equipment or machinery.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office/Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience developing electrical schematics/diagrams, BOMs, control-panel/cabinet layouts, and technical documentation.
- Experience designing systems per Electrical Code NEC, UL standards, and customer specifications.
- Experience with relay-based control systems, electrical power distribution, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with industrial ovens, furnaces, thermal processing equipment, or complex industrial machinery is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
