Job summary

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Management, report to the Division Manager, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of work experience as a Superintendent.
• Proven experience managing projects larger than $20M.
• Must be a licensed Journeyman (or equivalent).
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise activities determining construction methods, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule.
• Help train and manage other field staff.
• Manage day-to-day field operations for multiple mid-sized projects.
• Create and maintain project schedules with Project Manager; monitor critical path dates.
• Communicate site problems, conflicts, schedules, and quality issues to Project Manager.
• Resolve field construction problems and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain open communication with subcontractors to meet contract requirements.
• Assist in change orders, cost and schedule forecasting, and project close-out.
