Job summary

Bechtel, Clay, NY is seeking an experienced electrical supervisor to lead direct hire craft personnel on a major industrial project. You will ensure safe, on-time installation aligned with drawings and vendor requirements, coordinating with field engineers and supervision.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in electrical construction, and a strong focus on safety, planning, and quality control on complex sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of experience in electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and site-safe execution on large industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and ensures Zero Accident Philosophy across all electrical construction activities.
• Direct hire craft professional supervision for installation of electrical components on a large project.
• Support planning of construction methods, procedures, and execution strategies for electrical installations.
• Ensure drawings, IWPs, and sketches are available at work fronts to assist field teams.
• Coordinate with field engineers and craft professionals to interpret engineering documents.
• Enforce safety, quality, and project procedures in the field.
