Job summary

K2 Staffing, LLC is recruiting an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial construction projects in the Reno area. The role focuses on directing Foremen and electricians, coordinating crews, and ensuring work aligns with plans, schedules, and NEC code requirements.

The ideal candidate brings extensive field leadership, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget across Reno, Sparks, and Carson areas.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive commercial electrical construction experience in a leadership role (Superintendent/General Superintendent/ Senior Foreman).
• Strong track record supervising electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Proven ability to manage Foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical construction on assigned commercial projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Provide field leadership to Foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and resources to keep projects properly staffed and productive.
• Review plans, blueprints, and project documents to ensure proper field execution.
• Establish daily/weekly work plans and coordinate with PMs, GCs, and other trades.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate field conditions, status, and resource needs to Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, codes, and project standards; enforce safety policies.
