Job summary

Superior is seeking a Senior Project Manager for electrical construction projects based at Fort Wayne, IN. You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with Superintendents to ensure timely completion while maintaining safety and quality across the site.

The role rewards extensive leadership, client relationship building, and proactive risk management, with relocation support for mid- and senior-level candidates. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership position.

Qualifications

• You have at least 8 years of Project Operations experience in commercial construction.
• Bonus: Bachelor's degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Bonus: Construction Management certificate or equivalent experience on a commercial site.
• Bonus: Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.
• Bonus: Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Bonus: Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team(s) with clear communication to team members, vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate and manage project risk; escalate concerns with solutions to leadership.
• Maintain client trust by cultivating relationships and swift collaboration.
• Oversee project finances: billings, setup, buy-out, cost control, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Chair project meetings with customers for planning and progress reviews.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes.
• Maintain a high degree of safety across the jobsite.
