Job summary

Superior, a national leader in electrical design and construction, seeks a Senior Project Manager for a Port Washington, Wisconsin site. You will lead project teams, manage schedules and budgets, and work closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure safe, on-time project completion.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, a related degree or CM certificate, and experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of project operations/PM experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field; a CM certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team(s) and provide guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to leadership.
• Maintain client trust through effective communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Oversee all project finance requirements and manage billings, setup, cost control, change orders, and cost to complete.
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Chair project meetings with customers.
• Coordinate materials across departments and ensure availability.
• Own full contract scope and negotiate changes as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on the jobsite.
