Job summary

The candidate will lead complex electrical engineering projects, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and ensure quality through technical reports and cost analyses. DOE clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Six (6) years of relevant experience minimum.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance applicants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage complex electrical engineering projects.
• Identify and complete performance measures, including root cause and post job assessments.
• Meet project and schedule requirements.
• Communicate status on a periodic basis to management and design team.
• Resolve technical, logistical, and funding issues in area of cognizance.
• Prepare specifications for design, testing, and qualification of new equipment or upgrades of fielded equipment.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance for field operations.
• Team with other engineers to ensure integration of activities and plans.
• Acts as a coach to less experienced employees.
• Initiate, plan and perform complex analytical evaluations including computer models.
