Job summary

S&B in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a significant, multi-disciplinary project. You will perform electrical development, equipment design, and project management tasks, applying independent judgment to adapt standard criteria as needed.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year electrical engineering degree or higher, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Ability to lead design efforts across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience with project management, staffing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Meets with clients' technical staff to discuss project details.
• Coordinate and supervise electrical engineering design activities.
• Prepare equipment specifications and vendor inquiries.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Participate in plant start-ups and field assignments.
• Assist in proposals and cost estimates.
• May supervise other personnel on projects.
• Travel may be required.
