Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer – Electrical Systems to lead commissioning on hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across North America. You will own the commissioning process from script development through IST and final turnover, acting as the primary technical resource for owners, GCs, MEPs, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commissioning mission-critical electrical infrastructure and thrives in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Candidate has 5+ years in commissioning, startup, testing, or field engineering for mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
• Experience reading electrical one-line diagrams, ME P drawings, sequences, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute commissioning scripts for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems in data‑center environments.
• Lead Level 1–5 commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, IST, and turnover.
• Coordinate testing with owners, contractors, and equipment manufacturers.
• Review diagrams and specs to validate system functionality and perform issue resolution.
