Job summary

TMC USA Employeneurship seeks a Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning, testing, startup and troubleshooting of critical electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities.

In this role you will develop commissioning plans, test scripts, procedures and technical reports, perform functional testing on generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, ATS/STS, EPMS and power distribution systems, and travel nationwide (50-75%).

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning electrical systems in data centers, critical facilities, or large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, ATS/STS, EPMS, and power distribution systems.
• Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and system startup activities.
• Willing to travel nationwide (50-75%).

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning, testing, startup, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems for mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Execute commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design review through occupancy and final handover.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, test scripts, procedures, and technical reports.
• Perform functional testing and analysis of equipment including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, ATS/STS, EPMS, and power distribution systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Analyze system performance, identify issues, and provide technical recommendations to optimize reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior engineers while providing technical leadership in the field.
• Work on some of the industry's most advanced critical infrastructure and data center projects with opportunities for nationwide travel.
