Wesco, a Fortune 500 distributor, seeks a Senior Buyer in Orlando, FL. You will analyze data, replenish inventory, and negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs while maintaining product availability. This role partners with sales and branches to ensure on-time delivery and optimal lead times.

You will use purchasing and inventory systems to manage quotes, orders, and exceptions, driving value across the supply chain and supporting key strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• 3 years minimum, 5 years preferred in electrical supply purchasing.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with purchasing and inventory systems and reports.

Responsabilités

• Review daily purchasing reports and determine quantities to purchase and create purchasing documents for suppliers.
• Develop understanding of market conditions affecting cost and availability.
• Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs and manage terms.
• Identify new sourcing opportunities to add value and drive cost savings.
• Prepare RFIs/RFPs and evaluate responses.
• Maintain inventory availability while minimizing working capital.
• Expedite product delivery to meet customer commitments.
• Resolves receiving and supplier invoice discrepancies.
• Review supplier performance related to on-time delivery and costs.
