Job summary

Five Star Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer for our Ozone Park, New York office to support design and construction of electrical systems.

You will develop Revit models, coordinate with disciplines, prepare drawings and schedules, and assist field teams with data and submittals. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in electrical engineering in construction, and Revit proficiency with knowledge of NEC and BIM tools; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred; HS diploma accepted.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical engineering within construction or design/build.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM tools required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain electrical models and drawings in Revit.
• Coordinate building system models with other disciplines and resolve clashes.
• Support design reviews, submittals, and shop drawings for projects.
• Assist with QA/QC of electrical drawings and BIM models and maintain docs.
