Job summary

Concentric Integration seeks a Senior Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to drive power distribution and control system designs for water and wastewater projects. The role spans consulting and integration design, developing SLDs, P&IDs, and control panel schematics.

You will lead design efforts, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and inspectors. The position requires 7+ years of experience, an ABET-accredited degree, and travel about 10% to Houston area clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years of Electrical/Controls design experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% to Houston area clients.
• Strong oral, written, and digital communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for projects with consulting engineers and end users.
• Design electrical distribution systems, including one-line diagrams and panel schedules.
• Coordinate electrical design for automation, controls, and SCADA systems.
• Review project specifications and shop drawings; update design standards as required.
• Visit client sites to assess field conditions and develop practical design solutions.
