Job summary

Concentric Integration is seeking a Senior Electrical and Automation Design Engineer to lead electrical power distribution and automation improvements for water/wastewater facilities. The role blends consulting engineering and integration design, delivering SLDs, lighting plans, P&IDs, and control panel schematics.

You will work with contractors, integrators, and project managers, travel about 10% to Houston area clients, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring designs meet codes and

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
7+ years as Electrical/Controls Design Engineer.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to travel approximately 10% to Houston area clients.
Proficiency with CAD tools and adherence to design standards.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for electrical distribution and automation for water/wastewater projects.
Prepare SLDs, lighting plans, P&IDs, and panel schematics.
Coordinate automation/SCADA design, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Review shop drawings and O&M submittals for quality.
Provide technical training and mentorship to design engineers.
Visit client sites and ensure designs meet codes and standards.
