Job summary

Godfrey & Wing in Aurora, Ohio, is seeking an Electrical Assembler III to join our team. This advanced-level role focuses on owning complex wiring projects, performing detailed troubleshooting, and providing technical leadership within the assembly group for custom equipment in manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical assembly and wiring, reads complex schematics, and adheres to NEC safety standards.

Qualifications

Advanced experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and panel building.
Ability to read complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with NEC standards and safety practices.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical panels per drawings.
Layout conduit and wiring to meet standards.
Perform functional testing and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Collaborate with engineering on design improvements and system reliability.
Mentor junior assemblers and oversee quality checks per NEC and customer specs.
Support system integration, including installation and field modifications as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO and internal quality controls.
Travel up to 15% for service trips, installations, and warranty issues.
