Job summary

Godfrey & Wing is seeking an Electrical Assembler III to join our Aurora, Ohio team. This advanced role leads wiring of electrical panels and custom equipment for high-end manufacturing applications, referencing complex drawings and schematics.

You will read engineering drawings, perform detailed functional testing and troubleshooting, and mentor junior assemblers while ensuring safety and NEC compliance. Occasional travel up to 15% supports installations and service.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in electrical assembly and panel building.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical panels, control systems, and custom equipment from complex drawings.
• Execute conduit and wiring layouts meeting safety and performance standards.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and verification of systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve design, manufacturability and reliability.
• Mentor junior assemblers and ensure quality checks per standards.
• Oversee quality control to ensure NEC compliance and customer specs.
• Support installation, commissioning, or field modifications as needed.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols including LOTO and quality processes.
• Travel up to 15% for customer service trips and warranty issues.
