Control Tech in Troy, PA is seeking a 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team as a full-time employee. The role involves reading drawings, wiring through conduits, and supporting installation and maintenance of electrical systems on-site.

Qualified candidates have completed 2nd year electrical apprenticeship/education, possess First Aid/CPR with AED and H2S Alive/CSO/CSTS, and can pass drug, background, and driving checks.

Qualifications

• 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Experience/Schooling completed.
• Standard First Aid/CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSO, CSTS.
• Experience in oil and gas industry is an asset.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol test required for safety-sensitive roles.
• Criminal background check performed with relevance assessed to position.
• Clean driving record as per company standards (no major violations; ≤3 infractions in 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Pulls wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits.
• Assists with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems/equipment.
• Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
• Participates/complies with company safety programs and policies.
• Provides on-call support as required.
• Other duties as required.
