Job summary

Control Tech is seeking a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice in Troy, PA, to learn from Journeyman Electricians and support installation, testing, calibration, and repair of manufacturing equipment.

You will study wiring, electrical codes, and safety procedures while contributing to on-site projects and preventive maintenance. This role includes on-the-job training, safety-focused culture, and opportunities for growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Must be registered apprentice, preferred.
• First Aid/CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSO, CSTS required.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Pulls wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits.
• Assists with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems/equipment.
• Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
• Participates/complies with company safety programs & company policies.
• Provides on-call support as required.
• Other duties as required.
