Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a design technician or utility design role.
• Experience with utility distribution network design and pole/line layouts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Perform field visits to collect data for design packages.
• Design overhead and underground distribution systems and prepare drawings.
• Provide calculations for pole loading, voltage drop, and permitting.
• Lead junior technicians in data collection and drafting.
• Manage multiple projects to meet schedules and client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory standards.
