Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sr. Design Technician to support Electric Distribution design projects for utility clients. This role is remote/hybrid with some office and site visits, offering growth and professional development.

You will perform design tasks for overhead and underground systems, manage multiple projects, travel for site visits, and maintain records. A collaborative team environment and client focus are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Electric Distribution or other Utility Design projects.
• Experience with Distribution Design Studio (DDS) software.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally; valid driver's license.
• Adept with computer software; quick to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform design tasks for overhead and underground electric utility projects.
• Manage multiple projects to assure timely, successful completion and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to utility sites for inspections, load calculations and issue identification with recommendations.
• Maintain records of service calls, inspections, audits and maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
