Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify voting locations for regular and special elections in Bernalillo County.
• Research and select polling places that comply with the ADA.
• Recruit and train poll workers; ensure payment for services.
• Supervise workers and assign duties for pre-election, election day, and post-election activities.
• Coordinate absentee and early voting, including turnout projections.
• Allocate resources, issue and track ballots, and oversee reporting and closing of voting returns.
• Coordinate voter rights compliance, outreach, and third-party registration programs.
• Research and compile election data, prepare reports, and coordinate data exchanges with election databases.
• Maintain databases, prepare correspondence, process requisitions, order supplies, and monitor budgets.
• Interact with the public and election officials; maintain official documents and records.
