Job summary

Compass Healthcare Consulting and Placement seeks a Senior Elder Justice Specialist / Social Worker for full-time work in New York City and Westchester. The role manages a small caseload, delivering trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, and case management, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create care and safety plans for older adults.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, professional trainings on elder mistreatment, and contributing to grant reports.

Qualifications

• LMSW or LCSW licensure required.
• Experience in geriatrics, elder abuse, health care, domestic violence is preferred.
• Able to work with a multidisciplinary team across professions.
• Trauma-informed, client-centered approach emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 trauma-informed counseling and case management for elders.
• Advocate for clients within systems of care and develop safety plans.
• Collaborate with team to complete grant reports and maintain documentation.
• Develop and deliver trainings on elder mistreatment and trauma-informed care.
• Provide crisis intervention and psychosocial support as needed.
