Job summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking an Elastic Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Elastic Stack infrastructure for a DCSA contract based at Quantico, VA. The role emphasizes scalable data ingestion, real-time search, and interactive dashboards, with on-site requirements up to three days weekly and telework flexibility.

The ideal candidate has a decade of data architecture or big data experience, active TS clearance, and CISSP-era certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance required, eligible for TS/SCI upgrade.
• 8570 IASAE III certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or Information Systems Management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years data architecture, search engineering, or big data experience.
• Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Elastic Stack solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models, index strategies, and shard plans.
• Install, configure, and maintain Elastic Stack in cloud or on-premise environments.
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and other tools (e.g., Kafka).
• Develop complex search queries, aggregations, and analytics; create dashboards in Kibana.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity planning.
• Implement RBAC, encryption, and SSO for security.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineers, and IT staff to optimize data pipelines.
