Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Elastic Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the Elastic Stack infrastructure for DCSA contract at Quantico VA. Telework is available with on-site up to three days per week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, search engineering, or big data solutions.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI
• Must meet 8570 IASAE III certification requirements at time of hire (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience.
• Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE) certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Elastic Architecture and Design: design scalable Elastic Stack solutions and index strategies.
• Data Ingestion and Processing: build data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and other tools.
• Search, Analytics, and Visualization: develop complex queries and Kibana dashboards.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization: monitor, optimize, and plan capacity for growth.
• System Administration and Maintenance: manage upgrades, RBAC, encryption, and DR strategies.
• Collaboration and Support: work with development teams to integrate applications and provide expert guidance.
• Continuous Improvement: stay up-to-date with Elastic Stack features and document standards.
