Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC seeks an Elastic Architect/Engineer to design and maintain scalable Elastic Stack solutions at Quantico VA. The role focuses on data ingestion, real-time search, analytics, and visualization to enable data-driven decisions and governance.

The candidate will collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to enhance data pipelines, dashboards, and the overall platform while ensuring security and compliance with TS-era requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and/or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, search engineering, or big data solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer base verbally and in writing.
• Meet 8570 IASAE III certification requirements at the time of hire (e.g., CISSP, ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP).
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Elastic Architecture and Design: Design scalable Elastic Stack solutions and planning for data models and shard allocation.
• Data Ingestion and Processing: Build pipelines with Logstash, Beats, and Kafka; ensure data quality and availability.
• Search Analytics and Visualization: Develop queries and Kibana dashboards; deliver analytics to stakeholders.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor cluster health, optimize indexes, plan capacity for growth.
• System Administration and Security: Manage RBAC, encryption, SSO; implement backups and DR.
• Collaboration and Support: Work with development teams; provide expert guidance and troubleshooting.
• Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Stay current with Elastic Stack; document standards and practices.
