Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a seasoned Project Manager/Engineering Lead to guide EHV transmission line projects for utilities, COOPs, and developers. You will supervise multi-disciplinary teams, drive design delivery for 500kV and 765kV interfaces, and coordinate with clients to meet specifications and budgets.

This role requires ABET-accredited degree, 10+ years PM exp in transmission, Spanish and English proficiency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• BS/degree from ABET-accredited program in engineering or management.
• 10+ years of project management experience for utility transmission projects.
• 5+ years in 500kV and/or 765kV transmission line design.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering teams in EHV transmission line designs.
• Develop design deliverables and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
• Coordinate with client leads and stakeholders across departments.
• Perform independent design reviews and prepare concise reports.
• Mentor team members and build client relationships.
• Ensure designs comply with standards (NESC, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
