Patriot Erectors, LLC in Texas seeks an experienced EH&S professional to integrate safety into day-to-day field operations across South Texas projects. This hands-on, field-first role focuses on preventing injuries and maintaining compliance.

You’ll partner with project managers and crews to develop practical safety solutions, perform pre-task risk assessments, visit sites regularly, and ensure accurate OSHA records.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EH&S roles within manufacturing, industrial, or high-growth environments
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations for the trades you’ll oversee
• Strong communication and listening skills — able to take feedback from the crew’s perspective without passing judgment
• Excellent recordkeeping, including controlled documentation and change management
• Comfortable accessing elevated work via ladders or scaffolding to evaluate conditions
• A hands-on, proactive approach, with demonstrated initiative, identifying future risks and implementing countermeasures

Responsibilities

• Pre-Task Risk Assessment: Preview projects and project sites before work begins to identify safety risks and plan the right controls
• Site Presence: Visit active project sites to assess ongoing conditions and ensure compliance — your eyes on the work, regularly
• Partner & Solve: Work with project management teams and field crews to develop and implement practical solutions to site safety issues
• Records & Compliance: Maintain safety documentation — including OSHA 300 logs — with audit-ready accuracy and controlled document management
• Training: Train employees on safe work practices and maintain safety training certifications, including OSHA OTI
• Accountability: Enforce minimum safety standards with employees and subcontractors — coach first, and act decisively when standards aren’t met
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify emerging risks and implement countermeasures before they become incidents
