Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an EHS Applications Analyst to maintain and optimize on-premises and cloud-based EHS tools across the enterprise. The role centers on translating business needs into technical specifications, coordinating with developers, and ensuring data accuracy for regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Corporate EHS teams and business units while supporting Oracle-based systems, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint integrations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum five years of combined experience in business analysis, system analysis, or a similar technical/functional hybrid role.
• Experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and SQL performance tuning.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience performing both business analysis and system analysis functions in a technical environment.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced or evolving environments.
• Experience with Oracle databases and writing and optimizing PL/SQL queries.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Experience supporting or implementing EHS systems such as Essentials On-Prem/SpheraCloud, Cority, OHM, or SiteHawk Chemical Management System.
• Experience coordinating end-to-end project activities, including scope definition, requirements planning, scheduling, and resource alignment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of on-premises and cloud-based EHS applications.
• Serve as the main contact for questions, issues, and suggestions regarding EHS applications and systems.
• Support applications for incident reporting, environmental data collection, industrial hygiene data storage, and task scheduling.
• Report to the EHS Systems Manager within the Corporate EHS team.
• Interact with internal customers at Corporate, business-unit, and location levels.
• Discover and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned with system capabilities.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state EHS business processes.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications for development and configuration teams.
• Analyze system capabilities, data flows, integrations, and dependencies.
• Support Oracle-based systems through data analysis, SQL querying, and PL/SQL development.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and sustainability across EHS applications.
• Maintain documentation for knowledge transfer and long-term system sustainability.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with developers, architects, and business users to support successful implementation.
