Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Safety & Environmental Specialist to align site programs with Enterprise Safety and Environmental Services, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction while ensuring regulatory compliance. Relocation may be considered and sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities include leading safety and environmental program development, coordinating site training, performing risk assessments, and supporting audits with Enterprise Safety and Environmental.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or related discipline is required or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of safety-related and/or environmental management experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of government health, safety & environment regulations and hazard controls.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and demonstrate project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
• Develop and deliver site-specific safety and environmental training materials and testing.
• Coordinate safety assessments of equipment/processes with manufacturing engineering and provide improvement support.
• Initiate projects to implement site-specific processes and best practices to reduce risks.
• Conduct environmental inspections, testing, and data collection and maintain records.
