Job summary

Mountaintop-Beverage-LL in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to lead the facility's EHS programs and culture. You will provide expertise, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across safety, health, and environmental stewardship.

You will partner with leaders to identify risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement practical improvements, while delivering safety training and maintaining essential records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and EHS experience will be considered.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support EHS programs and safety initiatives across the facility.
• Investigate injuries, near misses, and incidents; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures to reduce risk.
• Provide EHS expertise for safety, health, environmental compliance, and emergency response.
• Develop and improve safety communications, training, and awareness programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety risks and implement improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety reviews with engineering controls.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and ensure regulatory documentation is up to date.
