Job summary

Mountaintop-Beverage-LL is seeking a Head of Technical Operations in Morgantown, WV to lead Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities & Utilities, and Process & Automation Engineering at our aseptic beverage facility.

You will drive asset performance, safety compliance, and technical capability, partnering with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability to optimize throughput, yield and process stability. Strong project leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Process & Automation Engineering including process engineering, controls, automation strategy, system architecture and standards.
• Own blending, aseptic processing and filling, and downline capability, manufacturing throughput, yield, process stability and production performance across the facility.
• Establish engineering standards, operating parameters, best practices, and priorities for process optimization and automation improvements.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance to resolve chronic manufacturing losses and improve performance.
• Lead the facility LOTO program including planning, documentation and readiness requirements.
• Lead facility safety infrastructure initiatives including material-handling and pedestrian safety.
• Review and approve EH&S programs, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and practicality.
• Create and own documentation structure in SharePoint including drawings, P&IDs, and commissioning documents.
• Lead and manage Facilities team, including prioritization, resource planning, maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Own shutdown plans and coordinate across departments for capital projects.
• Manage capital expenditure budgets, project documentation, forecasts, and risk management.
• Develop and manage technical training strategy and skills matrices.
• Perform other duties while ensuring regulatory and company requirements are met.
