Job summary

Cerro Wire LLC in Hartselle, AL seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist III to support daily EHS activities on the plant floor and at both facilities. You will implement programs, train staff, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental compliance.

The role reports to the EHS Manager and involves hands-on field presence, coaching, and collaboration with leadership to meet corporate EHS goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Interest in workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day EHS point of contact for Hartselle and MC Cable facilities.
• Identify hazards, communicate improvements, and escalate issues.
• Assist with inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate EHS training, maintain records, and support audits.
• Support environmental, safety, and regulatory programs and campaigns.
