Job summary

Cerrowire is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist III to support the Hartselle and MC Cable facilities. You’ll implement EHS programs, drive compliance, train employees, and investigate incidents to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

The role reports to the EHS Manager in Hartselle, with daily guidance and collaboration across plant leadership. A strong safety mindset and hands-on manufacturing exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in an EHS field preferred.
• Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Ability to communicate with production teams, supervisors, and leadership.
• Experience with OSHA General Industry and environmental compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day EHS contact for Hartselle and MC Cable facilities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in risk assessments (JHA/JSA).
• Coordinate EHS training and maintain training records for staff.
• Support EHS programs, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Assist with environmental compliance, waste management, and records.
