Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Sr. EHS Specialist to drive the development and implementation of EHS programs across a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Florida.

In this role, you will partner with facilities, engineering, manufacturing and labs to ensure worker safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous EHS improvement. Responsibilities include leading incident investigations, conducting risk assessments, developing training programs, and maintaining EHS documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in EHS, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Master's degree in EHS or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years EHS experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• EHS certifications such as CSP/CIH/QEP/CHMM are a plus.
• Sustainability/ESG experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Associate Director of EHS with developing and improving EHS management systems.
• Support and monitor KRAs/goals aligned with business plans and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, document, and review EHS training programs to protect workers and ensure site compliance.
• Develop, review, approve and implement SOPs, work instructions, and EHS documents.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align EHS initiatives and priorities.
• Ensure site compliance with EHS regulations and company policies; prevent non-conformances.
• Ensure timely and accurate EHS reporting internally and externally.
• Support safety evaluations and risk assessments (JHA, PHAs, HAZOPs, FMEAs, PSSRs).
• Provide technical support for EHS programs (LOTOTO, Hazcom, Respiratory Protection, etc.).
• Assist with budgeting of EHS plans and goals; participate in annual KRAs.
• Complete environmental reporting (Tier 2, hazardous waste, air emissions, TRI, stormwater).
• Report injury/illness data to OSHA and generate site reports.
• Manage EHS education/training using MasterControl.

Education

Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or similar degree

Master's degree in EHS or related field

5+ years of EHS experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing

EHS Certifications (CSP, CIH, QEP, CHMM) a plus

Sustainability & ESG experience a plus
