Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior EHS Specialist to oversee Environmental Health and Safety across a multi-site operation in Sunnyvale, CA. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive risk reduction, and foster a proactive safety culture.

Reporting to the Global EHS Manager, you will lead DBS-based improvement efforts, manage audits, training, and environmental permits while tracking KPIs and regulatory changes to safeguard personnel and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/regulatory operations experience.
• Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA, EPA, RCRA requirements.
• Experience leading risk assessments, investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong communication and planning skills in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS function for a combined manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and R&D site.
• Lead and implement EHS Management System program activities and training.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety observations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor EHS performance with KPIs and emerging regulations.
