Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) seeks a Senior Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to lead global EH&S and sustainability initiatives. The role partners with site leadership and global teams to embed safety, environmental stewardship, and well-being into daily operations across multiple manufacturing sites including Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven track record of driving the EH&S agenda in a multi-site, global manufacturing organization.
• Ability to engage the workforce at all levels to build EH&S culture and a collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements an EH&S and environmental sustainability management strategy, programs, policies and procedures for IDT globally.
• Ensures full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements through compliant programs and standard work.
• Leads a global EH&S review process to identify hazards and determine corrective or preventative actions and ensures implementation and results.
• Keeps EH&S team up-to-date with relevant laws and requirements across local areas of responsibility.
• Leads and coordinates audits of IDT globally (e.g., FM Global) and implements countermeasures.
• Serves as IDT Global contact for government agencies and participates in the EH&SOLC.
