Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Safety Compliance Specialist for Chemical Management Services (CMS) to ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted delivery of hazardous materials across multiple locations supporting DLA Aviation.

You will lead safety program activities, enforce federal and DoD regulations, and develop training to strengthen environmental health and safety across the defense logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years leading a safety program in a DoD environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Experience with Safety Data Sheet management and HMIRS/H2.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program safety, ensuring compliance and uninterrupted operations.
• Interpret and apply federal and DoD safety regulations and policies.
• Perform safety inspections, identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training to enhance defensive logistics capabilities.
