Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Safety Compliance Specialist for the Chemical Management Services (CMS) within its Defense organization. You will ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted delivery of hazardous materials across multiple locations supporting aircraft maintenance operations.

You will lead safety program activities, interpret and apply federal, state, and DoD regulations, conduct inspections and training, and drive corrective actions to sustain mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience executing a safety program in a Department of War environment.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations and Government Data Systems including DoD guidelines and HMIRS.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, recommend and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies, performing safety inspections and correcting deficiencies.
• Perform job analysis, assess problem areas and execute corrective actions.
• Develop and provide training, enhance services and develop new Defense logistics capabilities.
